Do You Know F.E.A.R.? | Trepang2 Review
17Trepang2 is an FPS that takes heavy inspiration from F.E.A.R.: from it's use of slow-mo to the feel of its combat, but finds a way to become faster, more arcade. You play as Subject 106, who after escaping from a Alaskan prison, joins up with his former team to put a stop to the Horizon corporation--a world leader who conducts human experiments on the side. To stop them, we'll embark on missions that often pivot to the supernatural, in combat that is as fast as it is powerful. All to the tune of music that elevates the experience even further--from 10/10 to the nth degree. It may have its flaws, but it doesn't feel too far off from being timeless, even if the gameplay already suggests it.
