Do you know how to separate Superfans from Wannabes?
When you are bringing your product to life make sure to ask screening questions that separate the super fans from the wannabes. The two most important questions are Do they have the problem that you are solving? and What are they doing right now to solve the problem?
When you're validating innovative ideas, you need to listen to the right people - and ignore the rest. The best way to find your Superfans is to screen for solution-seeking behavior. Make sure to ask people about their real BEHAVIORS - not just their desires, and aspirations.
