Do you need Anti Aliasing (AA) at 4K ? The Truth about 4K : Is it as Good as you Think it is ?
/!\IMPORTANT/!\ Watch in the highest quality (4k60) VP9 support is required to see options above 1080p60.
Keep in mind that it is even more noticeable ingame than shown here (due to youtube compression)
I made this video to put an end to all the fantasies depicting 4k resolution as being perfect or so. No it isn't, I know that we don't have the same visual acuities and I hope that this video will help answer those questions and raise some awareness on the fact that anti-aliasing is far from leaving us and we need always more horsepower to get clean visuals as games get more detailed and complex.
These comparisons were made with Nvidia Titan X (Pascal) 3 Way SLI (equivalent to 3x 1080 Ti)
The games I'm showcasing in this video are :
Train Simulator
Watch Dogs 2
X Rebirth
Dishonored 2
Mass Effect Andromeda
Need For Speed
Each game presents a different degree of geometry/shader aliasing.
