The only way to get direct audio on the Shield with Shou is by installing the scr pro beta and install the direct audio drivers. Then open up shou and select mic audio and it will actually record the direct audio. I recommend bumping up the audio bit rate or it will make a hissing sound. Make sure you use the phantom engine and hardware encoding. I was using mp4 codec @ 720p with the bit rate set to 4, 30fps
