Does Actor Peter Wyngarde Resemble David Warbeck? Armchair Theatre & James Bond
2Jason King (1971-1972) actor Peter Wyngarde may resemble David Warbeck & another actor, actress or group from some movie, TV series, etc. I was not quite sure of.
Connections:
Wyngarde played Klytus, the masked general of Ming The Merciless in 1980 comic strip space opera Flash Gordon. There are many ties to adaptations of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels in this. Max Von Sydow later played Blofeld in Never Say Never Again (1983). Timothy Dalton was Bond in 2 movies in the 1980's (The Living Daylights (1987) & License To Kill (1989)). David Warbeck's name was touted as a possible future Bond actor in the late 1970's and early '80's.
Wyngarde & Warbeck were in separate episodes of ITV anthology series Armchair Theatre (1956 to 1974).
In a previous video I looked at David Warbeck and thought he may resemble actor Peter O'Toole.
