Mortal Kombat, a franchise that will forever be known for its classic (or klassic) formula of changing industry of causing the creation of a rating system. However, many changes in recent times seem to be very off putting and just doesn't give the series the same Mortal Kombat vibe, especially with it's most recent Mortal Kombat game, Mortal Kombat 11. While we can talk about whether it was a good game or not, what is more important is what can come of the franchise in the future. This criticism of the direction it's going through so far does not change my love for the franchise, but this retrospective will definitely provide an idea of how I would recognize as Mortal Kombat.
