Does Ryzen 3000 BIOS Updates Re-lock Overclocking On Athlon 200GE? // With mainboard manufacturers updating BIOS updates for the new Ryzen 3000 AM4 processors that came out last week, some users are finding features for older processors are disappearing. The BIOS ROM chip on most 300- and 400-series mainboards are not large enough to support every available processor and features. As VP discovered when he updated the BIOS on the Asrock B450M Pro4 micro-ATX mainboard to version 3.30, the ability to overclock the Athlon 200GE disappeared.
