Does the iPhone XR screen actually SUCK?

I do a first look unboxing of the new yellow iPhone XR and take a deep look at the display which has got a lot of bad press. Yes it its lower than 1080P, just above 720P actually but does it make a difference at normal distances? Does it actually suck?
I look at brightness, contrast, saturation, color shift, brightness shift at off-axis, watch a 8K youtube video and see how it compared to the iPhone XS and also compare to the 8 Plus.
