Does the NEW No Mans Sky VR update improve the PSVR 2 version? // PSVR 2 Gameplay
665No Mans Sky for PSVR 2 was the biggest disappointment for me at launch, I was expecting to see a huge improvement in clarity and visual quality over the PSVR version but instead I was met with an almost identical port with no visual upgrade or resolution boost. This meant that No Mans Sky on PSVR 2 was a blurry, low resolution experience with jaggy edges, ghosting and soupy, vaseline covered visuals. However the new No Mans Sky update, No Mans Sky Interceptor, is here and with it comes a suite of new features including some PSVR 2 graphics and visuals enhancements. But is this new No Mans Sky update enough to fix the low quality visual of the initial launch version of the game? Let's find out.
After a few more patches and updates I believe Hello Games will get the No Mans Sky PSVR 2 version looking incredible, it's definitely taking steps in the right direction but some of that No Mans Sky PSVR 2 blurry / soupy visual appearance still remains even after this latest update. However the game is definitely far more playable now and those who experienced it at launch should notice a big improvement, especially to details close to the player (mid to far range environmental items still look pretty ropey).
