This is a casual discussion sharing examples of cool art in the process. I am simply voicing my thoughts on this subject; what I have observed in students and my favourite artists through the years.
I am always trying to look at the best practices for art... and then challenging them with my experience of working in the field. And also what I see when I look at great artists from throughout history and how they apply these ideas in their own work.
With great art, the truth is always in the middle somewhere. That is why there are few formulas for creating good art and illustration.... but many great ideas to help us along the way.
