Doing OoTMM Combo Randomizer First Time - More Than Bargained For?
2This is the first six hours of me playing through a seed of the OoT MM Combined Randomizer, which basically combines these two classic Zelda games into one which is then highly randomized. I put a lot of thought into what settings I might like and ended up with basically a custom version of the Blitz rules with more junked, more stuff crossing over, and 5 dungeons to do. Definitely room for improvement with them!
I spend a lot of time in OoT as a Child with the Door of Time closed and Majora's Mask out of logic which, in retrospect, maybe I could've done without but I will say eventually things did open up, things did eventually pick up and we did eventually go and get some done. Again, room to improvement, but this is pretty damn cool despite any struggles along the way.
There is still a good amount of this Randomizer left, but also it could be done before you know it with the right finds. I believe I will do another stream of this over the three day weekend specifically on Sunday.
