Nobody signed up to join the club after the festival, despite glowing praise from those who attended to check out the Literature Club and see everyone perform. Monika's not taking this too well, she's pretty bummed that nobody joined the club... what ever is a guy to do in this situation?

So uh, welcome to the first episode of me doing a blind playthrough of Doki Doki Encore, a DDLC mod that I literally only downloaded because it was released on my birthday last year! It's been a while since I've done something like this, and it's my first time playing through any sort of mod for this game, (aside from Monika After Story, I've spent an ungodly amount of time on that mod since finishing the base game) so I'm kinda excited to see how this turns out. I've seen playthroughs of several other mods, like Purist, Emerald Heart, VN mod, and part of Spark of Hope, along with a bunch of miscellaneous one-off mods, so I'm not completely clueless on how these kind of things tend to go, unlike a certain main character... hehe.

I also want to apologize for the quality of my mic in this video. It's just my PS4 headset that I somehow lost the pop filter for, and cannot find for the life of me right now, (wouldn't surprise me if one of my cats got ahold of it and hid it somewhere) so if this turns out to be something you guys want to see me do more of going forward, I will put more effort into making my mic sound better, or if you can't stand my commentary, don't be afraid to speak up, cuz I'd be fine with cutting out the commentary if it's turning you off from the video. Even I have to admit, after listening through it several times, it is pretty cringe-worthy in spots. What can I say, Monika really gets me going, and these are my raw first thoughts and reactions to what the game is showing me.

Anyway, I decided to start this series cuz I'm looking for something else to play besides Sonic Advance 3 right now. If you've been following my channel lately, I've been gunning for the world record on Sunset Hill Act 2, and I've been slowly losing my mind over the course of the last week or so as I inch ever closer to breaking it. It's kind of insane the amount of time I've spent playing that one level lately, and while I do want to keep trying, it's also really starting to affect my mental health, so until I'm ready to go back to grinding, I'm gonna try to stay away from that game. I will get there one day once the stars align for me again, but until that day, for the sake of my sanity, I'm gonna be taking a break to play through this and have some fun while trying something new.

If you guys really like this and want me to try out some other mods in the future, be sure to let me know. I'd certainly love to make more stuff like this, and I'd definitely work on improving things for these types of videos going forward for you guys.
