"Long long time ago, in a magical world…" The classic compilation "Lightbeams : Melodic Psytrance" was released by Shiva Space Technology records label in Dec. 2001. The VA was compiled by DJ Jorg, and it features old-school melodic Goa trance, including tracks by Cosma, Talamasca, Yahel and off course DJ Jorg himself. DJ Jorg is Joerg Kessler, originally from Germany, currently based in Ibiza. He is one of psytrance`s founding fathers, and he is well respected around the world. Jorg has produced some of the biggest psytrance hits of the 90`s, including "Spiritual Healing" (with Juan Verdera), India Spirit & Ego Killer (as Shiva Shidapu, a duo consisting Jorg and Erez Aizen of Infected Mushroom).
