The first goal of this strategy is to get your holdings as high as possible, the more holdings we get the better. To do this, we first start by getting Divided Attention under the Architect tree in Stewardship.
Once we have that we need to get our ruler's stewardship as high as possible. With an Ironman compatible 400 points, we were able to get our stewardship up to 22. Since stewardship gives us one holding per five points, we get four extra holdings. With a strategic marriage, and seeing our side to manage the domain, we can get half her stewardship rounded down, for a total of nine; added onto our stewardship that is an extra two holding for a total of six extra holdings from stewardship alone.
That is great, we don't have to have any vassals for a while; but what if we could use these holdings to produce knights. In the Tribal era, you can utilize war camps to do this, at level one, they give us an extra knight and 10% knight effectiveness. At level two, they give us two knights and 20% knight effectiveness.
You probably can see where we are going here, with our ten holdings we can get an extra 20 knights and 200% knight effectiveness.
Now we aren't going to completely abandon martial lifestyle, we are going to quickly dip into the Gallant tree, we want to drive down to Kingsguard, that way we get it and Chivarlric traits. This will give us an additional four knights and 75% knight effectiveness.
This brings our totals to a bonus of 24 knights and 275% knight effectiveness. You will also get your five knights from being a count, but let's be honest at ten holdings you won't be a count anymore, you will have taken a dutchy, and therefore get six knights instead. Bringing you to a total of 30 knights, and 375% knight effectiveness.
This means that a ten prowess knight, which is easy to get through marriage, will have a prowess of 37.5, no men-at-arms will stand in your way as you field 30+ knights with a minimum of 37.5 prowess.
This doesn't include bonuses from further titles, fame, and holy sites which will feed you even more knights and knight effectiveness into your growing regiments. You will also have opportunities to get your stewardship higher via events, traits, etc. Which will get you more holdings.
