This tutorial, while long, shows how easy it is to create maps for Dominions once you have the base. The premise behind this map is to make a blitz map for three players.

This map took about 4 hours to build from start to finish. If I used other games to generate the map, such as Battle for Wesnoth, the map illustration part would have been done very quickly.

If you leave suggestions I'll be looking to populate the names of the provinces as long as the suggestions suit the theme. Specifically I'll be adding names for:
3 Cities
13 Plains
9 Farms
8 Forests (not including the Isle of Avalon)
6 Mountains
3 Wastes (Deserts)
3 Swamps
3 Lakes
7 Caverns including the important central cave under the island.

In case you're wondering and spotted a couple of mistakes, I have corrected the missing forest near the lake and also corrected the path between the two plains provinces. :)
