Donkey Kong 64 - Composite (Dazzle) Quality Test
Our veteran viewers may remember the older videos of Rayque3 (back in 2008~2010), when we recorded Nintendo 64 and GameCube games with a Dazzle. About 2 years ago, Rayque couldn't make use of his Dazzle anymore because of his new TV (the TV lacked a Composite/Component output) and so he used a new capture card for recording his TV, a Hauppauge HD PVR. Somehow this upgrade was a lackluster, because Rayque wasn't able to record Nintendo 64 games and/or livestreaming (because major websites and programs does have support for the Dazzle, while the Hauppauge was rather limited to a few). Rayque is now able to record with his Dazzle again by using RCA-splitters. Why was this an issue at all? Because here in The Netherlands we are not familiar with RCA-splitters and thus they are really hard to find (and so importing may be a must), but we did find a store which sold them limited. However, recording the Nintendo 64 and/or livestreaming may have a reduced quality, so keep that in mind. Also, in this video Rayque is using RCA-splitters which also reduces quality by a minimum (though they are needed!).
What can you expect from now? You can expect previously-planned-projects-which-got-scrapped-by-limited-Youtube-uploads and one certain older project being remade. Mind that this is not garantueed and it's still work in progress, slash concept.
Please note that this game is from 1999, played on a regular Nintendo 64. This is far from the same quality from our previous Nintendo 64 video, the "Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards - All main bosses" because the Kirby 64 is played on a Nintendo Wii, which supports far better quality.
Please give feedback about the video. Also reply if the sound is not correctly, if so, we will do our best to fix this issue.
