Donkey Kong Country 3 103% Walkthrough - Part 26 (Final)
17This is it, the final stage of the game!
Knautilus - Basically a rematch against K. Rool on his own personal submarine. The fight is boring and easy up to the point where lightning beams shoot out from the sides and you have to place the steel barrel in the way so you don't get hit. From here, you have to try not to rush things (like throwing the barrel into K. Rool when you know the lightning is about to be shot at you) and be reliable in hitting Mr. Evil with the barrels. The reward for defeating him again is DK Coin #41, which completes our collection of them.
The only purpose of this fight was to get that last DK Coin and the reason for this is that if you go to Funky with 41 DK Coins, he'll give you one more vehicle, the Gyrocopter. This thing can obviously fly and only by using it can you access the last three banana bird caves. I also finish what's left of the trading sequences with the bear brothers and once I got all 15 banana birds, I visit Wrinkly and all of a sudden the banana birds take us away to the mother bird or whatever. From here, just enjoy the short additional ending.

Of course in reality I played a lot longer because rerecords and such obviously don't count into the game time. I'd estimate that this entire walkthrough took me at least 6 or 7 hours in total.

That's it, folks! Another walkthrough finished and again I'm satisfied with the majority of what I am presenting to you. It was by no means a flawless run and it probably didn't always look good but I'm not a machine and my patience also has its boundaries. There's one more thing I would have liked to share with you though: throughout this whole walkthrough I have been working on a bloopers video, featuring my most stupid or weird deaths while I was playing. The point is that the program I use to process my recorded videos seems to have issues with the audio sampling rate. Some of the small clips I kept seem to have a different sampling rate than others which is why the program refuses to append different segments. Long story short, I cannot combine the clips into a usable video and that's why there will be no bloopers for you to watch. They weren't as funny as I was hoping anyway so it's not as huge a loss as it might seem.
In any event, I thank everyone who keeps watching my videos and especially the one person or subscriber who keeps giving a t-up to nearly all of my newer videos - thanks a lot! I hope you had more fun watching than I had playing because sometimes I really didn't wanna play this game anymore - too much frustration and impatience from my side. =)
For my next walkthrough, I have been thinking of two more SNES RPGs that I will probably walkthrough next; before I do this though, I'll most likely take a break because I have some more pressing issues in that real life of mine I recently discovered. Gimme a month or so and I'll be back with more games for you to watch.
