Part 3 probably my last one. Accidentally died once because I forgot you had to press Y to destroy those rather than the Jump button.

My first impressions:
In terms of gameplay it is much better than Returns. You will encounter a lot of unexpected dynamic changes to the levels even if they seem like just your average scripted events. What I mean by that is something you might think you would be landing on a normal platform but it will suddenly change and move around when you land on it and throw off the player a bit. The levels flow quite nicely and the backgrounds are just amazing to look at. The shop is more useful in this game and give much better benefits to help your gameplay needs if you're struggling

Dixie is pretty much your easy mode partner, Diddy is your average mode partner and Cranky is your hard mode partner. Since Dixie's ability pretty much gives you a double jump like ability it will pretty much save your ass a lot more for big platforming sections.

Some negatives, levels like the previous game can become a bit more trial and error making you die from a lot of random cheap deaths but it is compensated by giving you tons and tons of lives. Compared to returns which don't really give you all that much. As usual you can't switch to your team member like in returns. You're still forced to use donkey kong unless you're playing co-op which is a clusterfuck as usual.

The Music is FREAKING AMAZING!!! LEGENDARY DAVID WISE AT HIS FINEST!!

Overall, I am enjoying this game a lot more than Returns. However, if you cannot grasp the basics of platforming games, this is not a game for you as this it will test your reflex a lot.
