Donovan - Lalena (1968)
15This video of Donovan's song, Lalena, I suppose, was my crowning achievement using Picasa ... and the last in the series that began in March 2012. It went to #33 on Billboard in autumn 1968.
By this point in time I felt I had taken the slideshow concept about as far as I could go. If I hadn't found Windows Movie Maker available for download (it did not come with
Windows 7 Vista), I probably would have given up. I had only been doing the slideshow videos for 15 months, but that was long enough to have used up all of Picasa's limited features.
I would go on to do a few more slideshows using WMM from time to time, but even those had more features available to make slideshow videos interesting. I would instead opt to combine motion picture with still images, and then eventually would work only with motion picture.
