[ Plot ]
Don't Be Afraid is a horror puzzle game that immerses players in the role of David, an 11-year-old boy who awakens in a dark, disturbing basement with no recollection of how he arrived there. As he navigates the maze-like, grotesque house, it quickly becomes evident that David is the latest victim in the twisted games of Mr. Franklin, a sadistic kidnapper and "artist" who delights in psychological torture.
Throughout the game, David encounters disturbing traps, eerie mannequins, and cryptic messages left by previous victims. These elements intensify the sense of horror and isolation, as David has to confront his fears, solve puzzles, and evade capture to uncover the dark secrets behind Mr. Franklin's motives. With each step forward, players piece together disturbing clues that reveal Mr. Franklin’s psychological manipulations and David’s horrifying circumstances.
