10-103 Null Kelvin is a sequel to the also very cool original 10-103 (remember the 2D SCP one?)! ;o

Specter 8 is back, as are the SCP style monsters -the 10-103 entities- and another Aegis Containment facility. Joy! It's a bit different this time though, we're somewhere very snowy and one of the facilities appears to be a fallen orbital station, the Axiom Orbital Research Station! :o We'reoff to the crash site to contain the "outbreak". We reach it easily enough, navigate the wreck, make our way inside through a hole breach in the side and restore power.

We immediately see various containment cells. There's a Type Mu called "The Duty" and a classified Type Gamma and Type Beta. After that things get more interesting as the Type RHO called "Kerberus Cubs" is missing :S We report in that Specimen 15 has escaped and are given the task of locating and terminating all 3 "instances", what does that mean? Ahead we find a Type Omega called "Pet Planet" which is what it sounds like. We head back outside and one of the Kerberus cubs find us before we even see it. Think flaming hellhound and instant death! We eventually beat it and head into another chunk of the station where we find an unclassified specimen called "Cingulate Cortex" which is basically giant scary psychic eyes, a Type PSI called "Haunted Pillow" and a Type XI called "Forbidden Soda" which appears to be a cross between Coke and Pepsi caught in an eternal struggle for dominance hah.


Back outside on the hunt for the last Cub we trudge through the snow to an entirely different facility ;o It's plastered with warning signs but we have a job to do as the last Kerberus Cub ran in there. Lots of labels for something called "Osmosis Legion" too, no idea what that is. We get clearance and head in only to promptly have the lift fall down its shaft with us in it. There are bodies everywhere in here and guides for dealing with Type ETA, Omicron, Pi etc. on the walls. What happened here?! We're soon attacked by zombie looking things so we'll have to find out later. At one point a note warns us that the power ahead is cut to the elevator, we need to restore it with a switch. Unfortunately the switch is on the other side of a room with some sort of shadowy sitting figure that is definitely NOT human :X We make it past it by rolling but when we redirect the power the figures lights go out and it gets very angry!!!! We make it to the lift before it catches us but this is only the beginning.

After the lift things back to the usual facility as we see a guide on Type Kappa, but then the shadowy figure we irritated comes out an air vent, it's HUGE!! We avoid its attempts to kill us while fighting through masses of zombie things past a guide for Type Mu until we see a guide for Type Tau (which seems like an .. interesting.... one). After yet more fighting and barely staying alive we find a computer with "Homeworld Security Database" on it. OooOOoooo. We need a password though and we don't have it sadly. By this point it seems the cub search is over and the focus is on just getting out alive. Unfortunately our bosses can't send help due to weather and also they want this thingy ("UT" they call it) that's after us dead -_-

We make it back outside and so does the shadow man thing and piles of zombies, boss fight finale time. Turns out that while we may not have direct support we can use flares to signal an Orbital Gauss Howitzer to blast him! :3 So we do, over and over while fighting masses of other stuff. Eventually control decides it;s a lost cause, thing won't die, so we're told to get clear so they can vaporise the entire area basically. So with "sector vitrification imminent" we evacuate, smartly honestly, to one of the segments of the downed orbital station where we use one its escape pods to blast clear before the whole are gets turned into a hole, literally.Specter 8 lands and is picked up by his chums, mission accomplished, glorious ending!!! \O_O/
