10The given position is from Andersson - van Oosterom with white's queen hitting up all the corners to force checkmate (white to play):
1. Qa1+
if 1... Rf6 2. Qh1 Qh6 3. Rg8+ Kxg8 (3... Kh7 4. Rh8+) and white wins
if 1... Rd4 2. e3 and white wins
if 1... Kh6 2. Qh8+ Kg5 3. Kh3 followed by Qh4++
if 1... Kh7 white checkmates on h8
thus 1... Qd4 2. Qh1 and black cannot avoid checkmate or losing the queen
Don't forget about the corners!
