Slay the Spire is a roguelike deck-building game developed by indie studio Mega Crit and published by Humble Bundle. Early Access was released in 2017 with an official release in 2019. It released for PS4, Xbox One and Switch in 2019, and then for iOs and Android in 2020/2021 respectively.
In Slay the Spire, the player attempts to ascend a spire of multiple floors created through procedural generation as one of four characters, battling through hallway enemies and end-of-act bosses. Combat is done through a collectible card game based system with the player gaining cards as rewards from combat, shops and events; you have to learn strategies and build an effective deck to complete the climb to the top.
