In episode 17 of Ruins Survival, we hammer the ever-living crap out of an ancient pseudoscience station for potential goodies. We also fight a poison birchnut tree.

Hammering the ancient altars of the ruins returns either items or hostile mobs. Mostly it's hostile mobs, but there's a small chance for some lucrative gear to be spawned. The one thing I'm really hoping for is a dapper vest. Dapper vests require 8 hounds teeth to craft, so I can use the green staff/medallion combo on it to get a good supply of hounds teeth for sewing kits. Besides that, there's a chance for gems and ancient tab gear to be spawned.

In this series, I am not allowed to resurface from the ruins. I must survive with only the supplies I gathered from a two-day trek to reach the ruins. If all goes well, I hope to build as epic of a base as I can down here, but things never quite go as planned when the nightmare cycle ticks red.
