Think twice before using PS5 Rest Mode! If your Playstation 5 has this bug, it will crash while using Rest Mode... Follow these steps to fix the PS5 rest mode brick problem. Your PS5 may crash in rest mode if your Playstation has "HDMI Device Link" enabled. First, I recommend disabling this feature if you experience the PS5 rest mode issue. If this doesn't work, I recommend changing your Playstation 5 "Power to USB in Rest Mode" Setting to Always. You can also switch it to "Off".. Lastly, you can invest in a battery backup for your PS5.
