Reasonable's comments: "Not great maps. Not the worst and have some fun moments, but overall very tedious and slow maps, despite some of them featuring pretty hot starts.

They feel padded out with mazes featuring bullet-spongy enemies taking up space in them, stopping you dead in your tracks until you slowly finish killing them.

They're also way too dark at times, and E1M8's entire switch puzzle design is confusing and, again, feels padded. You also end up pretty strapped for ammo at times if you don't find the secrets, which essentially makes them mandatory if you want to finish the map in a decent amount of time.

E1M4 was alright though."
