In this video, I show you how to do the huge skip on E2M6: Halls of the Damned.

Void glides occur when the player attempts to walk into two walls at once (a corner). Because the engine applies a new momentum vector for every wall you collide with, these two vectors add up and can result in a player momentum of up to 32 units/tick. Once this amplification occurs over several ticks, this oversight allows Doomguy to bypass the wall because the engine's tickrate isn't fast enough to make collision checks with the momentum the player has.
