Please know that this video was made before the re-release of
"Doom 1 & 2" by the developer "Nightdive Studios" back in 2024.
Those releases have their adjustments, benefits, and differences.
I've not played those releases and I don't intend on covering them either.
I would surmise that using "GZDoom" to play classic "Doom"
games is still going to be the better method.
Simply because "GZDoom" is going to have more
options built into the settings, giving you more control.
This is my longest single video so far, as well as my longest "Config & Tech" video.
I never intended for this video to be 3 hours, but "GZDoom" has a lot of settings to cover.
I understand if people don't watch this video because of the video's length or information density.
However, explaining settings is the point of these "Config & Tech" videos,
and moreover the point of this channel.
