DOOM 2 6FIFFY5: Sudden Death Part 1
THE STORY:
Ducking, running, dodging, heart pounding, ammo flying, the Cyber-
demons in their own world were a tough brood to fight. After the last
one you faced, and beat by the smallest of margins, you realized you
could've just hit the switch he was guarding and get the hell out of
his face, but it's too late now! Grabbing what little health you can in
the complex, you fight what's left of his minions, whcih were easy
compared to them. At last, you finished what was the place nicknamed
"Lord of the Cyberdemons".
At the EXIT, you see a strange teleport, so you step onto it, then
you are teleported to Jupiter's moon, Phobos. "God, not UAC AGAIN!"
Yep. You feared another UAC base has been overrun, and yep, that's
where you are at right now. It seems to be not all that overridden yet,
so you get out and look. It seems quiet outside, so you look some more
and see a few Imps. No big deal to you, huh? You've seen this before, a
few bad men, or monsters, so you know better. As you explore onward, you
will find more trouble. It's just a given for you. Now you just have to
figure out WHAT YOU'VE COME TO.
A hidden message was found in a secret cave nearby your starting
point, so you read it, to find out you're at one of UAC's sprawling
power plants, run off of nucular waste shipped from Earth. How nice, we
have a use for that ooze now. It is also stated that the very vast array
of computer rooms and stations which control a very big UAC city, has
been reconfigured to destroy other UAC bases on Phobos, served by this
plant, and there's a lot, hence the sprawling complex. It seems that the
main objective is to clean house (there's a plot twist for you), so the
computer's need of manual operation will cease, making the massive
radioactive ooze stop flowing into the many UAC bases surrounding the
plant. You may not be able to save them all, but you will hopefully
save many, maybe some, possibly just SOMETHING.
