29Welcome to my annual throwback to the best levels from 20 years ago, celebrating Doom's birthday!
The Classic Episode, created by Jan Van der Veken, Anthony Soto, Nick Baker, and Travers Dunne, turns out to be a timeless offer. A good E1 themed wad is always welcome, but this one comes from a time where the source ports were adding new features FAST, and everyone was taking advantage of them... like a taste of things to come, where now we have wads that either make extensive use of port's features (going way above vanilla limits at least), or are just vanilla compatible ones.

The Classic Episode, creado por Jan Van der Veken, Anthony Soto, Nick Baker, and Travers Dunne, resulta ser una oferta atemporal. Un buen wad con tema de E1 siempre es bienvenido, pero este viene de un tiempo donde los ports añadían nuevas capacidades RAPIDO, y todo el mundo hacía uso de ellas... como si de una visión del porvenir se tratase, donde ahora tenemos wads que o bien hacen uso extensivo de las capacidades de los ports (reventando los límites del vanilla como mínimo), or son completamente compatibles con vanilla.
