Here's a quick comparison between these games. I wanted to emphasize the visual difference and the curious contrast between doom4 classic levels, where weapons and monsters look next gen, but the world looks crappy, and how with some enhancements, in doom1, you can have normal oldschool pixelated weapons and monsters, but with hi-res textures and crazy music, the world looks better than d4's version of this level. Also, the gameplay being quite different too.

Also, doom4... Jesus... Massive bullet sponges in these levels.
