Finale time!

I think I've already said everything that needs saying with this game so I'll summarize my thoughts/feelings.

DOOM 3 is a one of a kind game that cannot be replicated. It has brilliant lighting, stellar sound design, and loads of environmental storytelling that make the experience feel grounded & realistic. At the same time it has bunnyhopping, hilariously over the top ragdolls, tons of unique easter eggs, allows friendly fire, and has guns so powerful that enemies turn into skeletons before disintegrating into ash.

It's a product of its time but in the best way possible, and all of these elements came together to form one of my all time favorite FPS games. Yeah it has crap that's definitely annoying like the over usage of leaping Imps ambushing you, not being able to switch off weapons in the middle of reloading, and those annoying Cherub enemies, but as a whole I find it to be immensely enjoyable and I have no problems coming back to revisit this classic every so often.
