Doom 3 Extended CPU Access Ambiance!
4Hey, hey guys and welcome to another new ambient video for Doom 3 this time highlighting the atmosphere from the CPU Access at the end of the Delta Complex map and it really has the feel of what it will look like when we see the next level become hellishly transformed and taken over the by the home-world of the demons themselves: HELL as the martian base becomes further and further a mere shadow of it's once Hi-Tech and technological SciFi self and the musical ambiance and atmosphere in this room from this map really seems to highlight that no doubt as we know that the Delta Complex's demonic takeover will seem like nothing compared to what happens in the next map Central Processing as in that level we see streams of Hellfire lava melt and eat through entire corridors of the Martian base in that map sort of like what happens in all of the maps from the episode of the Original Doom: The Shores Of Hell but perhaps even more scary and realistic by comparison due to far better graphics of course.
Anyway, this is a very eerily and dimly lit room of the Martian space station here in this level we call the Delta Complex of which in and of itself is very short actually as this map is even shorter than the game's Hell map that comes right before it as this is where the space marine himself teleports in from Hell as that map is a solid 30 if not 40 minutes long altogether while this delta complex map here is only perhaps 7-10 minutes long in length. Anyway, while we don't see any lava taking over this part of the Martian base we do see all kinds of fleshy, demonic growths throughout the level of which in and of itself is a tell-tale sign of what is happening to the space station as well as ghostly voices speaking or whispering as well as demonic taunts from Dr. Betruger himself speaking to you. We also listen to Non-Player-Character Elliot Swan's PDA giving further information on what happens to the martian facility by this point in the game obviously you will only know that of course if you are playing an entire gaming video of this map of course.
