DOOM 64: Dreamblood wad - a gameplay with a final twist - Exploring the Cacowards 2023 🏆 2
37(English below) Continuamos repasando los Cacowards 2023. Hoy le toca a Dreamblood, un wad para Doom 64 remaster consistente por ahora de 8 mapas, aunque en el futuro su autor HeadshotTAS quiere ampliarlo a nada menos que 64 mapas. En este gameplay muestro los 4 primeros, aunque en 4º no entero. Mi intención con estos gameplays es repasar los ganadores de los Cacowards de este año, con gameplay improvisados (la mayoría no los he jugado) normalmente hasta que me matan. Sin embargo, en este caso el final del gameplay es... diferente.
En el 4º mapa, hay que hacer "straferunning" para hacer saltos más largos en determinadas plataformas lanzadoras, movimiento que personalmente se me da bastante mal. El caso es que intentando repetidamente el que debería llevarme a la llave amarilla, tras varios intentos, la entrada al edificio en donde está se me bloquea con una pared un tanto particular. Esto no sé si es un bug o es intencionado (me imagino que no), el caso es que no puedo continuar. Una pena, hasta ese momento me estaba gustando mucho.

I continue reviewing the Cacowards 2023. Today it's Dreamblood's turn, a wad for Doom 64 remaster consisting for now of 8 maps, although in the future the author HeadshotTAS wants to expand it to no less than 64 maps. In this gameplay I show the first 4, although the 4th one is not complete. My intention with these gameplays is to try the winners of this year's Cacowards, with improvised gameplay (most of them I haven't played) usually until they kill me. However, in this case the end of the gameplay is... different.
In the 4th map, you have to do "straferunning" to make longer jumps on certain launching platforms, a move that I personally am quite bad at. The thing is that trying repeatedly the one that should lead me to the yellow key, after several attempts, the entrance to the building where it is is blocked by a... strange wall. I don't know if this is a bug or it's intentional (I guess not), but I can't continue. A shame, until that moment I was really enjoying it.
