Doom 4 Vanilla or D4V is a gameplay & graphical overhaul mod for Doom II that basically makes it more like Doom 2016. The mod is pretty awesome, covering
everything from weapons to enemies, sound effects, items and even skybox changes that are reminiscent of Doom 2016. The enemies themselves have been
overhauled to a great extent and are harder than their classic counterparts. The chaingunners get replaced by Hellraisers, and the Archvile
gets replaced by the Summoner since they weren't in Doom 2016 to begin with. Definitely give it a try!
