Double the enemies. A complete and utter massacre. The Ultimate Doom experience. Not the name... but. Oh, you know what I mean. Only on the LZ Doom source port btw.
I know the first few levels like the back of my head, so I'm still finding stuff. Everything passed Phobos Lab including the secret level are all new to me for this playthrough. Basically,, a newbie can play through this but it will be difficult without some experience in movement and aiming on the Doom Engine. Like, the experience obtained from playing Heretic helps immensely here. Anyways.
