It's time we've come full circle and play through the very first Master Level for DOOM Eternal.

Like Cultist Base, the main level hasn't been altered much but enemy spawns have been increased and there's more heavy demons. I definitely prefer these OG Master Levels to the new ones since I feel like most of the challenge comes from gimmicks and bs enemy placement instead of reworking the core fights to be more challenging.

Regardless, it was fun playing through the master levels again and even though I don't particularly like the direction the new master levels are going in, I still find them to be fun and challenging.

Quick ranking in order from personal favorite to least favorite: Cultist Base, Taras Nabad, Arc Complex, Super Gore Nest

I'm definitely looking forward to the next update which supposedly has 2 new master levels as well as a horde mode, which is something the game needed for a long time tbh. I'll probably stream Horde Mode and play through the upcoming master levels on my channel as well as maybe cover a few more mods.
