Doom Eternal - Super Gore Nest (Nightmare, Classic View Mode & No HUD)
2One of my favourite levels in the game, and is also the point where your character finally has more firepower to work with. At this stage you should at least have a mastered PB or Meathook for combos and quick armor pickups, otherwise the fights can be fairly hairy.
I screwed up a shit ton on this one, but a lot of that was forgetting that the doomslayer isn't fully upgraded yet, and I had a good number of moments finding out the hard way. But even then, this level really isn't that bad. In fact, from here on out it actually gets easier as your character gets more upgrades. Every death from here out just comes down to human error mostly whereas in harder levels like Cultist Base it's just a punishing level that you need to overcome.
But now with the Ballista, I have more combo possibilities, and heavies will be easier to wipe. All in all, great level, one of my favourites.
