Doom Eternal: Super Gore Nest - Slayer Gate Unlock & Empyrean Key Acquisition - Nightmare Difficulty
0This video shows how to unlock the Slayer Gate in the Super Gore Nest (Map 5) and includes my successful acquisition of the empyrean key on the Nightmare difficulty setting of the game.
I would have tried this on my first playing the map however, this map end sequence took me by surprise and I could not go back through the area's before the map completed.
Note: I actually travelled through the map two additional times to get this run because the second time I thought I will leave it and come back to the map thinking that the checkpoints would load me back at the Slayer Gate however, that was not the case and I had to complete the map for a third time. As a result I recommend doing this on your first run through the map because it will save you lots of time.
I have edited the video from 1 hour 17 minutes down to 6 minutes and 17 seconds. This removed the travel time to the Slayer Gate and all my failed attempts.
