A Clean wad, with All official content in 1, no bugs, no issues, and an engine/ sourceport without a shit menu and pain the ass setup that you can modify anyway you like?

To play in its original state?, or get the led out and amp it up?!

Audio that is correctly implemented?

Wider knowledge of developments tools and apps?

DOOM -PERFECT is;
Loosley based on every post ever made, every file ever released, every document available and what i assume to be everyones first time experience with doom. Designed for the things i am confident that every doom user wants, requests, or infact has to do themselves - as specific set of tasks that are fundamentally a requirement to create the perfect doom from your sub-par, piss-poor purchased versions

It aims to be a Universally accepted standard of modifications and changes people can make in less than 150 lines of text. - literally everyone does these thing, but not everyone can do in the same time, correctly, or even at all.

Why does this happen? - why does everyone re-invent the wheel?
...My hypothesis is that doom has massive potential to be great - but is infact totally shit! - that is why when you played it at 6-15years old all you did was cheat and not complete.

.. The poor first time experience that is the current state of affairs is what drives so many users to have to setup their doom experience a certain way - it takes a monumental amount of time and effort for new users, but their are billions of users who have repeated the same process- again and again and daily requests for the same thing and users who could have done what i did 5 years ago- and after all that time, people still doing the same shit, making the same mistakes, failing to get the help they would like etc etc and blah blah blah.

Why is this repetition happening?
Is making the perfect doom wad yourself the fun part ? YES!- But only where it is logical and not unneccessarily time consuming and thus an expense.

--- But If YES!, why so many downloads numbers for doom_complete - wadsmoosh and automated tools of the like - Well that is becuase the users are without any means of replicating the processes. (Gated Tactics force them to have to use the app, because there is no educational resource for them to do it themselves)

Why does a shit soundfont get integrated into a sourceport when there are more important and highly prioritised requests daily for years? - well that's because do stuff to benefit their own environment - not the end user.

The Solution:
* With a150 line text document you can create the perfect doom experience, modify it how you want, learn everything that is needed, hell you can even make your our doom engine if you want.

You can run script to do everything for you or you can have the power and autonomy placed into your pocket ..or in this case on your desktop and make stuf yourself fast and efficiently.

You can expand your knowledge to maybe benefit other titles, apps and stuff.

Reading through the content and examples will guarantee a good -dare i say a -PERFECT Experience? and you can do it in less than a day - instead of 6months.

Which would you prefer? - shitty gzdoom crap 1st time experience and a shit purchase from GOG steam or bethesda? Or j.. buy from cdkeys.com register with gog, get every doom game for like 4 bucks legally - and heres a 150 line text file that will teach you literally everything you need to know ever! and i dunno a 100mb dl or a few links.

p.s. if you read all this description it is longer that the file that can teach everything you ever wanted to know about doom.


I would like to speedrun the entire process, over and over, to see how long it takes, and whether any more changes are needed.
