PS: Btw it's not MAP15 of Sandy's Cities that i mention at the start.. it's #13!
End of my run of this set. i started thinking about the maps ahead more closely and lost the feeling to play. The best maps are definitely the early ones, even if there are a few ok ones later. It's sort of sad because this is True Vanilla.
And, in the video i neglected to say this: ...as if switches and platforming weren't used for progression in Doom before - c'mon, mr. Author :D It's hard to believe he actually said he wanted to improve upon the original... in fact i kinda find that obnoxious, and if not the 'design decisions' that certainly in itself would've put me off.
Still, i think this is a good solid set, just ultimately with some fatal 'design decisions'.
PS: One of these days i'll actually think thru what i wanna say before starting on a multi-layered topic, my decision and thoughts on this have many different angles, sitting in front of mic while waking up and playing Doom. 🤔🐈
