To run:

1. Put the .wad file in GzDoom folder.
2. Open gzdoom_portable.ini, find

[Global.Autoload]

and add after it:

Path={folder_name}\Steam\SteamApps\common\Doom 2\base\{wad_name}.wad

It will require DOOM2.WAD as well. I'm using Steam version of the game.
