Doom II X-Treme (DOOM II TC) - Full Singleplayer Playthrough (w/ commentary)
1Doom, once again pushed to the extreme with Doom II X-Treme by Chuck Lai, as the third in the X-Series. With tons of crazy weapons and crazier enemies, this game is definitely one of the best out there. Now comes with its own levels that were made by others with some being edits of levels from official Doom games, with the names being reused from the base game and both Final Doom episodes.
Like UD2X, this WAD originally came with its own executable with the DeHackEd patch loaded, however the original download has been lost due to the shutdown of Doomshack.com where the original download was hosted. An updated version was released by Parker Info which rids the file of said executable; this particular download is now hosted on Doom Wad Station. However, this version is unplayable on vanilla Doom due to DeHackEd spurting out several errors upon trying to load the patch file, so I had to use a source port to play it. Would've been better playing it as originally intended.
