i think some poor design decisions. There was no need for the floor to be THAT damaging (leaving me just health to be decimated by a single hitscanner), and the constant darkness seems unjustified for the environment. All the signs of emergent modernism under thin layer of classicism. Not to my liking, but might be to yours.
