Am actually quite enjoying the new Doom's multiplayer. Obviously doesn't look like "the next supercompetitive arena-shooter" most of the old hardcore guard of Doom and Quake players might have wished for (this feels closer to Halo), and it won't go down in history as one of the greats, but I think for those of us who can drop that expectation (it's over for us, I guess Reflex is the last/best attempt) and just treat it like a fun, casual fragfest of spacemarines and demons there are definitely good times to be had here. Looking forward to the full thing and seeing what the single player campaign is like, and hearing the rest of Mick Gordon's soundtrack!
