This last pre-release build to be distributed outside of id Software was meant for journalists to try the game out before release, containing 3 maps that come to familiarity today. The game pretty much comes closer to the final, with somewhat-functioning scoring and lives systems as in id Software's previous games. Sad to see it got cut out in the final and no more scoring and lives came in their later titles after that.
