To anyone who's familiar with Doom mods, looking for them on Mod DB is kinda like dumpster diving: you're gonna find plenty of bad stuff, but sometimes you luck out and find a really cool thing.

Anomaly Deimos is one such cool thing: it's a sort of "remake" of the Shores of Hell from Doom 1, but runs on Doom 2 and has a bunch of cool things going on with it. It looks like Doom meets Quake and plays quite different from vanilla, with some nice smooth animations on top.

IMPORTANT: Anomaly Deimos has a lot of custom things under the hood, so good luck trying to run this with mods. The sourceport I used here also doesn't play nicely with AD's ambient sounds, so they're not present.
