Despite of me being done making original maps, I felt like I had to make my own Christmas themed map since I feel like nobody was going to make one I would enjoy. Not only that, why not make a present for myself?

This map is heavily inspired by the original Doom and Doom II and it's '90s megawads, but also taking advantage of ledge grab and double jumping. There is a little bit of a Christmas theme, but I feel like I failed that aspect since I didn't know where to put that with all the Classic Doom stuff. Oh well.

This map has everything. There are elements of tech base, hell, city, interior, exterior, and so on. I'm pretty proud of what I did with this map, but I'm still kind of disappointed I had to sacrifice some of the stuff I wanted to do due to resource limitations. With that mentioned, I might try to make another Classic Doom themed map that takes advantage of the stuff I couldn't do for this map.

This map was both fun and frustrating to make. It was fun when I had the ideas in my mind, but it was frustrating when I was at my creative block and then got desperate for ideas. Despite of those moments, I'm still proud to see I still got some fuel left in the tank. Maybe, I should still continue making more original maps. Time will tell.
