Doom Snapmap - Sector 71
4Lots of intensity to be found here! The 1 life permadeath feature can be a nice change of pace and adds a bit of extra replay value to a map. The trick is to make sure your map is fair, fun and interesting enough to warrent that extra playthrough. This map is a little lacking in some creativity in cosmetic design but does most other things quite well. It's brutal in a good way... challenging but fair. There are enough props, some effects and a great layout to the level but not as much paint job or module haulover as this author is capable of. I had to pause the game on the bridge and really wasn't focused like I needed to be when I came back. I sort of panicked, then lasted just over 1 minute upon returning to the game. I do still want to replay this sometime.
