DOOM SnapMap Unrelenting Evil E1M3 [ I did it! ]
3Ok, guys, I back to this map again. Finaly, finaly I can pass it. Little batter and here the video. Enjoy - 0 deads.
"Design" - look at this. Remember for you E1M3 Doom 1? I think - yes, because this map really like E1M3. Every where toxic places and boxes with toxic wastes. This walls, this classic switches, classic keys, doors like classic. Very carrefull places BV's in modern style. Very good.
I don't know how you thinking, but I see old good E1M3 from Doom 1 in modern style with classic features and secrets.
Ok, let's talk about rates. Rate is 10/10. Something alse expacting? Maybe that FPS is falling - I give lover rate? Or it's not classic, map with modern textures and lower rate? Nope. This map well deserve this rate. So, it's 10/10 like for others.
"Gameplay" - it's classic map. Like in classic - we have "normal" weapons, look arround for ammo/hp/armor, secrets. No falling ammo/hp/armor from dead demons. Only look arround and find, if you can. Way out? Search for switch key-card or way throw, beware demons, like in classic they can spawn in places where you don't recognize them...
Ok, about rates. Rate is 8.5/10. Good gameplay for good map. It's classic and no big amount of demons, but not so easy. Yes, you can choose difficult lvl, but if you choose (like me) U-V - be sure for fast move and hiding by the walls, or you can die and if that - respawn and you must do this again.
Ok, it was gameplay. Now "Classic".
"Classic" - like you see - author use modern textures for BV's and map looking in new packaging, but look arround - it's old good classic doom. Honestly, for me - this map remake for E1M3 Doom 1 with own vision. Very good. Author classics as he can - switches, spawn, fights, ammunition, key-cards, places. It's all very good, yes, it's not classic, but what bad with modern textures and demons? Modern effects or style of creation? All like in classic, all. I can't anything bad to say for this lvl, I like all what author did.
Well, let's talk about rates. It's 10/10. Heh, "not classic", "it's not doom 1&2" or similar and this people can disagree with me, but it's 90th? No. It's old game? No. Guys, it's Doom 2016. What you expacting for? Oh yeah, you big guy and crying about your child time...
Avarage rate - 9.5/10. Yes, it's very good, very-very. Only I can't understand what with FPS was, but it's can spoil rate, it's only my/company problem with FPS. Maybe it's optimization or graph card. This map is cool classic lvl what can take us to 90th and remember for some one old good times, but with something new - don't miss this map!
